i am gathering up my work for our annual POTTERY SMASH UP, which is happening this weekend. this is where BAD pottery is put in it’s place. this year we will be throwing these naughty vessels OUT OF A WINDOW . . . take THAT !

i have been fighting with this dark brown clay for months now. sometimes it works beautifully . . . and sometime THIS happens. no one can really figure out why. sadly, i am a very stubborn girl and i don’t give up that easily when i want something really badly. i love the look of this clay and i love working with it. i’m determined to figure this beast out and make him my friend.
