my mom loves to have people over for lunch at our new studio. i love it too, because i usually get the left overs AND i get to hang out with cool artists. today we had lunch with sara paloma and whitney smith (i love throwing myself at whitney’s feet . . . she pretends that she hates dogs, but i know that she secretly LOVES ME).

one of my new year’s resolutions is to eat lunch regularly.  my new studio is very conducive for this, as i’ve set up a “dining area.” in the old days, i would skip lunch altogether or eat it at my work table, glaze dripping down my arm, and simultaneously eat while continuing to work. BAD MANNERS. i now look forward to my actual lunch break and having a civilized lunch . . . bon appétit !
