i wore these sandals every day on our trek through greece (i had the tan marks for months afterwards to prove it !). greece is the most breathtakingly beautiful country i have ever been to thus far. i can not WAIT to go back.

BASIC & FUN !
i was featured in this new japanese book called BASIC & FUN. the book was written by miki usui and is about her favorite places and products in the bay area. it is a charming book with a lot of great photos and i am honored to be a part of it. you can get one at the kinokuniya bookstore in japan town. i highly recommend owning one !

put your eggs in one nest.
sometimes i like to make seasonal work. it gives me the sense of a time frame and allows me to keep moving forward. i wasn’t sure these would be finished in time for Easter, but they just made it out of the kiln (with a week to spare). they are fired 3 times. i’ve recently discovered gold luster and though it is quite tricky to work with, i love the results.

i bought this painting from the lovely and amazing pouké last november. i saw it at an art opening and knew i had to have it right then and there (my snap decisions are almost always reliable). it now hangs on our kitchen wall where i get to gaze at it from my seat at the table (strategically placed, of course). AND it also made it’s way into the new fog linen catalogue (‘around fog linen’) !

here is another chair chez pez. this house has an abundance of chairs, which are my favorite things to sketch. and each chair was more charming than the next. i was in chair heaven. this one was tres elegant.
