there is a community organic garden right across the street from our house. i go there regularly to see what’s growing and to smell the succulent aromas. it is my little sanctuary, complete with a picnic table to enjoy a meal at or to sit and sketch.

Wow, a sunflower or a dahlia. Beautiful! How lucky to live across the street from a community garden! Aren't they great? I discovered a wonderful one in Sonoma this year, completely hidden away, huge and full of sculptures.

pouké, i KNOW . . . a lot of color to digest, but when it is so pure and natural, i find it intriguing.
