i love philadelphia. i find it very charming and quaint and lovely.
there was a lot of fabulous work at the clay studio, including the work of my great friend + studio mate christa assad.
and i saw two MUST SEE exhibits at the philadelphia art museum. one was of calder jewelry . . .
and the other was the beautiful gee’s bend quilts . . . stunning.

Hi Rae! welcome home! I just wanted to say that I was so moved by those Gee’s Bend quilts, too. The were so amazingly creative and inventive that I felt I was in the presence of true genious. I wish I could see that Calder Jewelry show…xo JP
