so hot.

jw and i went to a wedding in los angeles this weekend where the temperature was in the HUNDREDS.  it was really quite unbearable (unless, of course, you were bare . . . which only a few of us were allowed to be).   unfortunately, i was wearing a light wool dress, because we didn’t read the fine print to know that it was an outdoors event, nor were we really expecting it to be 105 degrees.

the wedding was held in the backyard of a house (more like a ranch-farm-mansion) right in the middle of studio city.  it was a beautiful hidden paradise and there was even a barn and  livestock, my virtual dream house.
luckily, there was a swimming pool, and though i was so very tempted to dive in, wading in up to my thighs was sheer heaven.

Ick! I’m going to Houston for a wedding this weekend and I feel like I’ll be singing a similar song after that. Over 100 is just UNbearable. It sounds like you had a pretty nice time anyway though!

Honey, I deal with smothering temps, too and it just sapps your energy. Glad you found a body of water to cool off in.
