finally, some very beautiful and much needed rain. even though it took me an HOUR to get to my dentist appointment in the city, i love every drop of this rain.

rainy day schedule.
i’m sitting here waiting for the rain to stop so that i can go outside and do my business and see my friends. but it looks like i’ll be sitting here for a long time. it’s really raining cats + dogs out there (whatever THAT means).

rain, eat, indulge.
today it was raining, which called for a rainy day schedule . . .
big breakfast of scrambled eggs, asparagus, cheese + heirloom tomatoes . . .
followed by BIRTHDAY CAKE. yesterday happened to be my birthday, and my husband made me this sublime chocolate cake from scratch . . . mmmmmmmmm.
