an army of 100 handmade porcelain mini cups are marching over to recchiuti chocolate confections for a special mother’s day gift box. as much as i am trying to steer away from production work, there is something satisfyingly methodical about making 100 of the same thing. plus, i couldn’t resist working with jacky and michael recchiuti. sorry if you are one of the wholesale or production orders out there that i’ve had to turn down, but this one was too sweet to pass up.

i was honored to have an acknowledgement in this very sweet cookbook, The Back in the Day Bakery Cookbook. it’s full of amazing sweet homey recipes and beautiful photographs.

may the luck of the irish be with you on your day.
one of the projects in my “painting class” is to draw the alphabet in different medium and fonts. this “A” was done in charcoal and is approximately 14″ x 20″ (it’s a BIG little A).
